PRODUCT STORY :
Bobbinwork is a sewing technique that explores unconventional or textured yarn on the surface of a fabric. Sewn as machine-fed decorative stitches through the bobbins. There are 116 rows of stitches on this lumbar pillow.
It is hand-stitched with Japanese boucle yarn made out of recycled cotton. Boucle refers to yarn with a looped or curled ply which in Indonesian language translates as 'Lekuk' and the earthy brown colour reminds us of the wax painting which is drawn with 'Canting' in Batik technique.
