PRODUCT STORY :
Bobbinwork is a sewing technique that explores unconventional or textured yarn on the surface of a fabric. Sewn as machine-fed decorative stitches through the bobbins. There are 45 rows of stitches on the 'Ondel-ondel' pillow and 60 rows of stitches on the lumbar pillow
It is made by Japanese 'Washi' or paper yarn on top of tencel fabric. 'Ondel-ondel' is a traditional art of puppetry in Betawi's culture and the papery texture of this pillow celebrates the festivity of its crown.
